About Chhatu Team
Suchit Das and friends have decideded to make the chhatu production a simple and earning model for the common people.
We observed that the farming is done by many people without proper guidance and help from government institutions. Most of the farmers do it on open space.
We started observing the farming in diffrent conditions and diffrent enclosures. We notice the production was affected due to tempareture and weather conditions. The variation was remarkable in diffrent places.
The mushroom does not get adequate enviornment in the open space, wheather it produces great in closed areas.So we started our experiments in closed space and opted some climate control methods. Maintaining the tempareture was manual in initial days. We got some gadgets/gause to monitor the weather conditions.
Gradually we had to use the computers to monitor and record the weather and the production to help in analysing the data.
The whole purpose is to provide farmers proper information and simple gadgets to produce more in less of expenses.
Sapan Kumar Hota contributed Rs.2 Lakhs for the experiemnt.
Sovan Das provided his fabrication unit to build the setup and himself assist a lot.
Sachi Rout provided spawn from his lab and shared his experience and guidance.
